The Laboratory Fume Hood is shipped in a properly packaged container that is designed to protect the product during shipping and handling. The container will be secured with tape, shrink wrap, and/or straps. The package must be strong enough to withstand a minimum of 30 lbs. of force and be able to protect the product during a drop from a height of three feet.
The container should include internal dunnage and/or cushioning to ensure the product remains secure and does not move during shipping. The container should also include a moisture barrier and/or desiccant to protect the product from moisture and humidity.
The package must be clearly labeled with the product name, shipping destination, and the handling instructions. The package should also include a packing list and/or invoice to show the contents of the package.
