School Lab Furniture-Create a Beautiful Environment for Canada Client in 2017

School Lab Furniture that are resistant to corrosion and acid and alkali are usually made of special materials and designed to meet the needs of high-intensity chemical experiments in laboratories. The following are common material selection and design points:

     1.School Lab Furniture Countertop material
Epoxy Resin board
Advantages: Resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, high temperatures (generally above 120°C), and strong impact resistance.
Applicable scenarios: Highly corrosive chemical experiments (such as concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, etc.).
Ceramic
Advantages: Resistant to acids and alkalis, high temperatures (up to over 1000°C), and easy to clean.
Disadvantages: High brittleness and poor impact resistance.
Stainless steel (316L stainless steel is better)
Advantages: Corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, easy to clean, suitable for general acidic and alkaline environments.
Disadvantages: Not resistant to hydrofluoric acid, high-concentration chlorides, etc.
Polypropylene (PP) or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) countertop
Advantages: Resistant to acids, alkalis and organic solvents, suitable for special corrosive experiments.
Disadvantage: Poor heat resistance (about 80°C for PP and about 260°C for PTFE).

2.School Lab Furniture Cabinet body and frame
Anti-corrosion coated steel frame: The surface is sprayed with epoxy resin or polyester powder to enhance corrosion resistance.
PP (polypropylene) or PVC cabinet body: All-plastic structure, suitable for highly corrosive environments.
Stainless steel frame: 316L stainless steel is more corrosion-resistant, but it is more expensive.
3. Other design points
✅ leak-proof design: Add a water-blocking edge to the edge of the countertop to prevent liquid from overflowing.
✅ High-temperature resistant structure: Some experiments require the tabletop to be able to withstand high temperatures (such as electric furnaces, muffle furnaces).
✅ Scratch-resistant and wear-resistant: The surface should be scratch-resistant to prevent accelerated corrosion after long-term use.
